Tummo: The Practice of Inner Fire
With Geshe Sonam Gurung and John Jackson
May 20 - 23, 2026
Ignite your inner heat through the ancient wisdom of the Bön tradition.
This retreat offers a rare opportunity to study Tummo (Inner Fire) as described in the Kusum Rangshar, an extraordinary collection of Dzogchen teachings by Shardza Rinpoche. As Part 1 of a foundational series, this course focuses on the essential groundwork required to safely generate inner fire, purify the mind, and activate the body’s subtle energy systems.
What you will learn:
Tsa Lung Exercises: Physical movements and breathwork specifically designed for balancing the “winds” within the body’s channels.
Visualization: Working with the initial stages of chakras, channels, and energy drops to ignite awakened awareness.
Deity Practice: Engaging with Khandro Thuje Kundrolma to support the energetic work.
Foundation of Stillness: Using the “inner fire” to burn away obscurations and establish the clear awareness required for advanced Dzogchen.
